I’d like to find out how is it to be a tutor actually. Should I prepare any lessons at the beginning? Or is it rather for people who actually speak the language, but want to practice and speak with a native? I want to be a Polish tutor, it’s my native language, so should I prepare any grammar references or can I just be a tutor? Can you give me some tips?

Part of being a successful tutor also involves creating lessons or being active on the “Ask a Tutor” forum so that learners start to learn who you are. It’s up to you to decide what kind of approach you will have for conversations, and you can mention everything you think is important for learner in conversation report.
